Planning a St. Augustine Wedding?

St. Augustine, Florida is a great place to have a wedding, it is a very charming city and provides many photographic opportunities. I love shooting here because of the diversity of scenes in such a small place. In the last few years I have watched this town boom into a thriving tourist spot. Does this mean there are no quiet locations to get romantic wedding images? Not at all, St. Augustine has many hidden nooks, where we can get great photographs.

Great St. Augustine Locations for Images of Newlyweds

Most often, just after the wedding ceremony and formal photographs are out of the way, I go to some of St. Augustine's many great locations with Newlyweds and spend a few quick moments capturing them away from crowds, away from parents, and away from stress. This is often when I see a couple realize WOW we are married! It is always touching, fun and heartwarming to witness and capture these great moments. Another great thing about St. Augustine is all the great reception and party venues, for such a small town we have fun at night!

Several times I have photographed engagements and engagement photos for couples who where getting married somewhere else, but wanted some images in St. Augustine. This is understandable considering how many people get engaged in this romantic getaway. I enjoy showing these folks around my city and spending some time with them getting great images for them to take back home.

This is always fun! I go to whatever spot in town you wish and we get several great images... usually we spend time in several spots around ton to obtain a variety of scenes.
